Mundane Monday; NOT!
If only any other Mondays were like this, I had fun today with the classmates. After E.tech lab test, we went to City Hall get the Today paper so that we could get free movie tickets. Took the train with them and when we arrived there we found a whole stack of Today newspaper untouched. UNTOUCHED!
Now was the best time to bring out the kiasu in me. I took 2 newspapers, (hey I was being modest okay!), while Gibson took a whole bunch? Didnt noticed how much he took but it seemed alot. LOL.
Wen Jie then complained of being hungry, so off we went to find delicacies for our craving stomachs. They wanted to eat at Carl’s Jr but it wasn’t HALAL-CERTIFIED. I am so proud and touched that I have such respected friends as they immediatedly turned down Carl’s Jr. Being the curious bunch ourselves, we figured it would be worth to try out “The Manhattan’s Fish Market”. And boy, was it worth it. :)

Mhmmmm, Butter rice w Grilled Snapper and Mussels. Delicioso :P

The total *BURP damage BURP* to our wallets. :\
And thus, with heavy stomachs we made our way to do some window shopping. Wen Jie had to go off for his driving lesson so we walked to Esplanade Stn where Han Wei and Yi Hong had to go home. In the end it was me and Gibson who were still enthusiastic about watching movies.

Happy 75th Cathay! and Thx for the free tixs! :)

Queued for tickets and I didnt know what to watch so I just suggested the title which came up first. Well, it turned out quite good actually and Usher made a cameo in it! As a supermarket manager! WTH! :S

Heard alot of good reviews from my friends who had watched it so I decided to give it a go. Pretty awesome action movie and I regretted missing the first part due to Killers and this overlapping each other.
By the end of the 2nd movie, I was already tired and sleepy but Gibson had two more movies with him. Toy Story 3 and The Crazies. Slacked with him outside Cathay while waiting for his brother and Douglas to arrive. Talked about our past primary/secondary life and how we enjoyed those times.
Movie-junkies for a day and I love unplanned/out of the blue/random outings like this. :)
Till next time.
Cheers,
LQ
